Getting Started:

Start with simple 3-panel comics
Do the first one together as a class
Let students share different ideas - there's no wrong answer
Ask: "What do you see? What happens next? How do they feel?"

Activities:

Basic description: What happens in each panel?
Add emotions: How do characters feel?
Create dialogue: What are they saying?
Extend story: What happened before/after?
