Simple Present	Simple Past
Henry swims everyday.	His boat hit an iceberg.
Present Continuous	Past Continuous
Henry is swimming to the coast.	At 1 o'clock Henry was dreaming about Jane.
Present Perfect	Past Perfect
His boat has hit an iceberg.	Henry had bought the boat the day before he crashed.
Present Perfect Continuous	Past Perfect Continuous
Henry has been swimming for two hours.	Henry had been dreaming about Jane when his boat hit the iceberg.
